How does the page look in Google and when shared?
A preview of the search result and the link card on LinkedIn, Slack or X, plus the title, description, headings, canonical, indexing and social tags behind them.
Why it matters
The title and description are the advert for the page in search results: they decide whether people click. Too long and Google cuts them off; missing and Google writes its own, often badly.
Open Graph and X card tags decide what a shared link looks like. Without an image, a link posted on LinkedIn or in Slack is a plain line of text that few people click.
Previews are close approximations: Google and each social network change their layouts from time to time.
