Broken link checker
Every link on a page, checked in seconds: which ones lead to a dead end, which go through redirects, and which sites refuse automated checks.
Checking every link on the page, many at once. Slow sites can make this take up to 30 seconds…
Why broken links matter
A broken link sends a visitor to an error page instead of what they clicked for. Most people don’t try again: they leave. Search engines notice too: every dead internal link wastes their crawl and looks like a site nobody maintains.
Links break all the time without anyone noticing: a page gets renamed, a product is removed, a partner’s site moves. That’s why it’s worth checking pages after every redesign or content clean-up.
How to read the results
Broken means the page answered with an error (404 not found, 410 gone, 500 server error) or the domain doesn’t exist. Fix the link or remove it. For your own pages, a 301 redirect from the old address to the new one fixes every link at once.
Through a redirect works, but takes an extra round trip. Point the link straight at the final address when you next edit the page.
Not verifiable means the other site refuses automated checks (LinkedIn, Instagram and many big shops do) or answered too slowly. We never call these broken; open them by hand if in doubt.
This tool checks one page, up to 100 links. A full audit crawls up to 50 pages of the site and checks every link on all of them.
